E-Z-GO 2Five Low Speed Vehicle Review
EZGO vehicles have been around since the 1960s and have expanded their market presence the past few years with some innovative models. Their 2Five model was their first LSV model to be introduced to the market. One of the innovative features of the 2Five was the inclusion of a motor brake built into the AC motor system. Therefore, when you come to a stop, you do not have to engage the motor brake manually. It locks automatically. This is very advantageous for the average golfer since they do not have to engage the parking brake as they go to hit their ball each time. Also, since the motor brake runs off the battery power, if your batteries are dead, then the vehicle will not move until a service professional can get access to the vehicle.
The 2Five is built off the RXV platform and includes some more safety inspired accessories such as Three-Point Safety Seat Belts and a 4 wheel hydraulic braking system. It will also include headlights, brake lights, horn, turn signals and other features that will be necessary to drive the vehicle on the road as a licensed street legal unit. In addition, you will find nice storage accessories for the unit if you do not intend to play golf with the unit.
In essence, it is a good platform for someone who intends to use this as a commuter unit. Lastly, most will enjoy the top speed of 25 MPH on the unit.
