When determining if a lithium golf cart is right for you, there are a few things to consider and question when purchasing:

What is the age of the golf cart?

• • Just the like most things in life, the older the golf cart, the more potential problems you may face with it. We HIGHLY recommend always seeing the golf cart in person before purchasing if it is used or refurbished.
  • Check the hours/cycles. Most golf carts that are 2005 and newer will track the hours and/or cycles (golf cart rounds) on the controller.

How old are the batteries?

• • As mentioned above, lithium batteries will last much longer than traditional lead-acid batteries, however, they will still eventually expire and, when they do, will cost substantially more than lead-acid batteries (typically a couple thousand more).
