EZGO Freedom TXT Golf Cart Review

E-Z-GO vehicles have been around for quite some time and have expanded their market presence the past few years with some innovative models. Their longest running model is easily the EZGO TXT (which also comes as the E-Z-GO Freedom TXT Golf Cart which is what we’re reviewing here). It has been around since the 1990s and has had some face lifts in recent years with body style changes. First and foremost, the E-Z-GO Freedom TXT Golf Cart is an affordable new vehicle with a starting price point of $7,100. If you are looking for a no frills golf cart, then you have found the right vehicle for you.

We would like to point out that the vehicle was built and designed for golfing and was not designated to be a street legal vehicle. Therefore, be aware that safety is a concern with the E-Z-GO Freedom TXT Golf Cart. Now, one highlight is that the vehicle does have a steel frame which will make it more formidable on the street versus an aluminum frame. The downside of a steel frame would be associated with its ability to rust. It is a powder coated steel which will be resistant to rust.
