Cart Mart CEO Named Most Admired CEO of the Year While the Company is Recognized Both Regionally and Nationally for Fast Growth

As Cart Mart marks its 60th anniversary, the company has a number of new reasons to celebrate in addition to this major milestone.

Cart Mart CEO, Brian Rott, has been named the Most Admired CEO of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal. His leadership has been instrumental in the company’s growth, which has been recognized by both Inc. magazine and the San Diego Business Journal.

Inc. has listed Cart Mart in its 2019 guide to the 5,000 fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S., and the San Diego Business Journal has named Cart Mart one of the Fastest 100 Growing Private Companies in San Diego County.

Out of over 150 elite finalists, Rott was awarded the Most Admired CEO of the Year for his professional achievements, contributions to the company’s financial success and growth, involvement in the community and philanthropic efforts, creating a purposeful organization and supporting social responsibility.

Not many CEOs have been rooted in their business their entire life, but Rott’s grandfather, Ben Bellman, started the company so Rott has been immersed since he was a child. In the early 1950s, Bellman worked on manufacturing what was then called “electric caddy cars” which were initially used in commercial applications to move people or things. He sold the company, then started in the distribution business by opening Cart Mart in El Paso, Texas in 1959.

“I’m so honored to have been named Most Admired CEO of the Year, and then to learn of the other recognition the company has received, I was beaming with pride for the great people who actually make it possible that we continue to grow and thrive,” said Rott. “The team at Cart Mart most certainly has come a long way over our 60-year history.  With our ‘Make it Happen’ attitude, I’m confident our company will continue to generate buzz in the business community.”

Cart Mart has locations in San Marcos, Rancho Mirage, Lake Forest, Los Angeles – and will soon open its largest store in La Quinta. Cart Mart specializes in sales and service for new and used golf cars, onsite service, preventative maintenance, replacement parts and special event rentals.
