Red Hawk has continued to serve their local communities outside of the workplace by donating money and volunteer hours to nonprofit hunger-relief organizations.
This year, Red Hawk and its employees donated $4030 for the Feeding America BackPack Program, an organization that helps provide food to children in need. Many children are provided free lunches through school programs but fail to receive the nutrition they need when returning home. Feeding America BackPack Program reaches over 450,000 children through more than 160 local food banks each week.
In addition to their monetary donations, Red Hawk employees worked over 500 hours at the Maryland Food Bank, Feeding Northeast Florida (FNEFL) and the North Texas Food Bank agencies. Employees spent time sorting donated perishable and non-perishable foods, preparing “backpack lunches” for children, and assembling personal care kits containing basic necessities and toiletries.
Red Hawk recognizes the importance of giving back to local communities and aims to continue its commitment to serve those in need.
