MODZ has officially launched its new lithium battery lineup, now shipping to dealers across the United States following its debut at the PGA Show in Orlando earlier this year.
Built in collaboration with EKT, a global leader in industrial lithium battery technology, the MODZ lithium platform brings together advanced engineering and user-focused design to deliver a new level of performance, reliability, and ease of use for the golf cart market.
The current lineup includes 60Ah, 105Ah, and 175Ah options, with additional models — including a 200Ah and a 73V 105Ah — set to launch soon. The 105Ah and larger capacity batteries include a built-in heater as standard, ensuring consistent performance across a wide range of climates.
Each unit is equipped with a UL-certified 20A onboard charger that mounts directly to the battery using MODZ’s patent-pending integrated charger mount, simplifying installation and reducing clutter.
MODZ lithium batteries also include a remote state-of-charge meter with a built-in wake-up button, along with an onboard display that provides real-time system data such as charge levels, power output, and diagnostics. An integrated audible alert system notifies users of low charge levels or potential issues.
To further enhance the user experience, MODZ has introduced a dedicated mobile app, available on iOS and Android. MODZ believes this is the most advanced battery app currently available in the market, giving users full control over their system.
The app allows users to manage charging schedules, monitor performance in real time, and adjust sleep settings remotely. It also enables direct sharing of battery logs with the MODZ engineering team through a proprietary cloud platform, helping streamline diagnostics and support.
MODZ has also introduced the industry’s first limited lifetime battery warranty, which includes five years of full replacement coverage followed by prorated protection for as long as the original owner retains the product.
