2024 PGA Merchandise Show Recap

The 2024 PGA Merchandise Show was a historic week for the Golf Car / LSV industry.  Golf carts have been a part of the PGA Show for decades, but in 2024 golf cars went from being a small part of the show to one of the most ubiquitous product categories.  All the traditional brands like Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, and Tomberlin had their usual presence, while newer players like Vivid EV, Atlas Carts, Honor LSV, Denago EV, and Evolution had large displays in the heart of the show floor. Here is a recap of what we found the most interesting at the show:

U.S. Battery

One of the first booths we visited was U.S. Battery, where they showed us their latest product: US 48V 105 Deep Cycle Lithium-Ion Battery.  The battery is maintenance-free, comes with an 8-year warranty, and is leak proof, setting a new industry standard for the lithium category.

Tomberlin Introduces the 2024 Engage

Tomberlin has been a leader in the LSV industry with their sleek designs and high performance vehicles.  The 2024 Engage series is no exception.   The Engage sets the highest standard for safety, performance and style.  The new Engage Ghosthawk features a 6-inch lift combined with rugged hybrid on/off road tires on black wheels gives an aggressive stance and commanding view of the road.  The new Engage LX redefines what luxury in a LSV can and should be. Packed with industry exclusive features and riding on a 3-inch lift with automotive radial tires for a smooth ride the LX delivers a one of a kind experience. You can visit tomberlinusa.com for more info. Tomberlin also teased in their booth a breakthrough for electric vehicles: wireless charging.  No cords or plugs, just pull into the garage and the cart will charge itself.   Tomberlin will be working with Witricity on this exciting innovation.

Bintelli Introduces the 2024 Nexus LSV

The fastest growing LSV brand the past few years due to the hot selling Beyond line.  The Beyond is one of the leaders in the LSV market at a lower price point.  On the first day of the show, Bintelli unveiled the newest line for 2024: the Bintelli Nexus.  The Nexus comes standard with more high-end features than any other electric, street-legal golf cart in the industry with a 13″ High Resolution Infortainment center, LED lighting, 72V high efficiency powertrain, and many more premium features.  The LSV also includes a proprietary Lithium battery exclusive to Bintelli.

HONOR LSV Debuts at 2024 PGA Show

A lot of Golf Cart / LSV brands claim to be “Made in the USA” but HONOR LSV is truly the closest to that being true.  HONOR is the only company that uses lasers and their own in-house fabrication machine to make the body.  Honor also has an in-house powder coat paint shop.  All the other components are sourced from the USA except just a few components not domestically produced. Their goal is to re-shore as much product back to the US to create American jobs, provide a quality American product, and give back to our community.

Atlas Golf Carts

Another first time exhibitor at the PGA Merchandise Show was Atlas Carts.  Based in South Carolina, Atlas was designed by golf cart industry veterans with over 70 years experience developing and launching some of the most well-known and popular golf cart vehicles and accessories on the market today.  In 2023, they decided to branch off and introduce the most advanced personal golf cart ever imagined. Every Atlas comes with an industry leading, extended-range lithium battery paired with a powerful AC drivetrain.

Looking Forward to the 2025 PGA Merchandise Show

It’s never too early to start planning for the 2025 PGA Merchandise Show.  It is scheduled to be January 21-25, 2025 in Orlando, FL. GolfCartResource.com will be there and hope the Golf Cart/LSV industry will be represented just as impressively as this year.
