Euro NCAP Performs Golf Cart Crash Test at 31mph

Wowza. If you’ve ever wanted to see what a golf cart going 31mph and crashing into a wall looks like, take a look at this video. Technically the “golf cart” being used is a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) – which is even scarier, considering these types of vehicles are typically supplied with a VIN and full legal right to drive on city streets with a speed limit of 35mph or less.

According to BangShift.com, the test was performed back in 2014 by Euro NCAP, an organization that provides safety ratings for vehicles in Europe. In this test they used a Club Car Villager 2+2 and it’s quite eye-opening to see the absolute buckling of the LSV that occurs.

Chad has been in the golf cart industry for 5+ years utilizing his skills in sales and marketing as well as producing various online platforms for dealers and OEMs. He resides in a golf community in La Quinta, CA where he takes at least one golf cart ride a day around the neighborhood with his family.
