WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – A reported collision between a golf cart and a white Kia vehicle at Fountain Avenue and Fuller around 11 in the evening, Friday March 16, was directly responded to by the West Hollywood Sheriff deputies.
The driver of the Kia was traveling on the left lane at Fountain Avenue heading westbound. The golf cart on the other hand, was heading in the same direction on the right lane. Upon reaching the intersection with Fuller, the golf cart driver made an unanticipated left turn in front of the white Kia resulting in an accident.The golf cart was hurled toward the sidewalk, but there were no reported injuries.
As the town has not yet released a legal ordinance for golf cart usage on public roads, the West Hollywood Sheriff Deputies towed the cart due to its unauthorized use on the public road.
