One interesting and new game play for this tournament is the introduction of Nebraska’s PGA Handicap Rule 3-5 of the U.S.G.A. Handicap Manual. The rule of this is to ensure that all competitors are playing on equal golf course no matter which sets of tees are being played. There will be no age or handicap restriction but the course will vary depending on which set of tees one wishes to play from. Also, all Nebraska PGA Pro-Ams will be played at 80% of their course Handicap.

There is also another fun twist for the game this year which is the ‘Callaway Chrome Soft Shootout’ which was debuted by PGA Member Brian Winge. The Callaway Golf “Chrome Soft Shootout” will be on the 5th hole, a lovely downhill par 3. The participants will receive a two-pack of Callaway Chrome soft golf balls or Chrome Soft X golf ball for participating in the Pro-Am.

For this particular shootout, one must use the Chrome Soft golf balls. When it comes to the PGA professionals, if the participant makes a hole-in-one using the particular ball, then he could take home a $250.00. For the amateurs, the closest shot made by the participant will reward him a new Odyssey Putter and if the participant makes a hole-in-one he could actually win a new Callaway Epic Driver!

At the tournament, lunch will be served and a grilling station will be up and running from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
